Tully is a comedy from director Jason Reitman and screenwriter Diablo Cody. Charlize Theron stars as Marlo, a mother desperately trying to find balance amidst the overwhelming, exhausting pressure of being a mom to three children including a newborn. She is gifted a night nanny by her brother (Mark Duplass). Hesitant to the extravagance at first, Marlo comes to form a unique bond with the thoughtful, surprising, and sometimes challenging young nanny named Tully (Mackenzie Davis).

Wim Wenders’ Pope Francis – A Man of His Word, is not a traditional biographical documentary, but a personal journey with Pope Francis. The film presents his work of reform and answers to today’s global questions; from his deep concern for the poor and wealth inequality, to his involvement in environmental issues and social justice, Pope Francis engages the audience face-to-face and calls for peace.

From filmmaker Spike Lee comes the true story of an American hero. It’s the early 1970s, and Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) is the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a name for himself, Stallworth bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. The young detective soon recruits a more seasoned colleague, Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver), into the undercover investigation. Together, they team up to take down the extremist hate group as the organization aims to sanitize its violent rhetoric to appeal to the mainstream. The film also stars Laura Harrier, Topher Grace as David Duke, and Harry Belafonte.

Mary Queen of Scots explores the turbulent life of Mary Stuart (Saoirse Ronan). Queen of France at 16 and widowed at 18, Mary defies pressure to remarry. Instead, she returns to her native Scotland to reclaim her rightful throne alongside her cousin Elizabeth I (Margot Robbie) who rules as England’s Queen. Rivals in power and in love, and female monarchs in a masculine world, the two must decide how to play the game of marriage versus independence. Determined to rule as much more than a figurehead, Mary asserts her claim to the English throne, threatening Elizabeth’s sovereignty. Betrayal, rebellion, and conspiracies within each court imperil both thrones – and change the course of history.

On the Basis of Sex is inspired by the true story of the young Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a new mother and an attorney struggling in a field dominated by men. The film details the early days of her fight for equal rights for women. When Ruth (Felicity Jones) takes on a groundbreaking case with her husband Marty (Armie Hammer), she knows it could forever change the way the courts and the United States view gender discrimination. The film also chronicles the storybook-like romance between Ruth and Marty, a partnership that succeeded both personally and professionally. Directed by Mimi Leder and written by Daniel Stiepleman, On the Basis of Sex also co-stars Justin Theroux, Kathy Bates, Sam Waterston, Jack Reynor, and Cailee Spaeny. Produced by Robert Cort, p.g.a. and Jonathan King, p.g.a.
